Spurs supporters who booed keeper Guglielmo Vicario were informed afterwards "those individuals can't be real Tottenham fans" by boss Thomas Frank.

Spurs conceded two scores in the opening initial moments to fall 2-1 to Fulham, registering their 10th top-flight at home defeat of the year.

But the primary talking point was Fulham's second score when the keeper lost possession well beyond his area.

He ventured out to handle a long ball and carried the ball near the sideline.

However, rather than booting it into touch, the Italy international turned and attempted to clear away, but slipped as the ball skimmed off Harry Wilson and was collected by King.

The forward laid the ball off to Wales midfielder Harry Wilson, who curled a strike into the net from the touchline recorded at 36.6 metres.

Seconds later when the ball went to Vicario once more, some Tottenham fans booed him.

The team were jeered off at half-time, with the club 2-0 down, and again at the final whistle.

One of those booing sessions truly angered Frank.

"I heard some of our supporters apparently jeered the situation and jeered after, which, in my view is totally unjustifiable," the Danish manager commented about the supporters' reaction to his goalkeeper.

"Those individuals cannot be real Spurs fans that do that. Alright jeering after the match, no problem, but when we are in play, we are supporting one another, we are behind each other going forward."

Tete had handed Fulham a fourth-minute lead before Wilson's goal – with Mohammed Kudus scoring for Spurs in an improved second-half showing.

Ex- top-flight goalkeeper Joe Hart remarked that the next goal was "completely avoidable".

"I certainly appreciate the fans' disappointment," Hart continued. "I know the part the keeper is performing. He is a excellent team player, he is a true figure in the locker room but ultimately you are going to be assessed by your decisions.

"He was heavily implicated in what ended up to be the decisive score."

'It is In the Game, I Can Handle It'

Italy national team the keeper is in his 3rd campaign with Spurs.

The 29-year-old stated after the match that he had to accept the feedback.

"That score was a mistake of mine, I take accountability for that," he said.

"My aim was to clear the ball far and I just struck the ball in a bad way. It was an more difficult challenge to overcome."

He stated receiving jeers "is part of the game".

"I'm a big man, what can I say?" he continued. "The team cannot be influenced by the circumstances in the crowd. Supporters have the right to do as they see fit.

"It is on us to stay more composed, to concentrate on our own performance. We are missing in calmness and poise to reverse outcomes. This match is a poor loss and it's hard to take."

'It Shocked Me No One Returned to the Line'

In spite of the keeper's error, it was not an simple score for Harry Wilson to score.

In fact it was the next most distant top division score of the season – after Adams' 43.3 yard goal for Bournemouth against the Black Cats, which interestingly too occurred on the same day.

The goalscorer said he was "a little bit surprised" that he still had an open goal to aim for.

'When You're in a Bad Spell, All Seems to Work Against You'

Although Vicario's mistake led coverage, this was an all-round bad day for Spurs to continue their home ground struggles.

This was their tenth at home loss of 2025 in the league, a shared team statistic along with nineteen ninety-four and 2003.

They still have home games against Frank's former club Brentford and champions the Reds to come before the end of the year.

Just a single of those wins have come after the manager replaced his predecessor in the off-season.

"If you are behind 2-0 after the opening, there is a mountain to climb," stated Frank.

"During in a poor run, all aspects seems to go against you as well – the opening was a redirected attempt, the second is a mistake from Vic.

"This result puts us in a place where we have lost another game. Every game has a unique narrative, today we lost in the early stages.

Ex- Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy stated that Frank has to endure the criticism.

"He must accept the stick," the pundit said. "He's accepted a high profile job at a huge football club with massive expectation. There is pressure and responsibility that comes with that.

"The performances at their stadium have been poor and they have to get better {quickly|
