Los Angeles witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Supporters worldwide joined local residents in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Local events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
