Iran is prepared to restart atomic negotiations with the United States provided that it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has declared.

Abbas Araghchi declared exclusively dialogue worked, and disclosed new appeals had come from intermediaries to restart negotiations with the US government. He said Iran did not have undeclared nuclear sites, and Iran was not yet able to authorize the UN nuclear inspectorate to access bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Walking a Challenging Course

Araghchi is treading a challenging route since Iran wishes not to be perceived to be acting from a position of disadvantage, and he consistently maintained that Iran had arisen more powerful defensively and mentally from the joint assault on its nuclear sites in June.

He was addressing at a security conference in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to refine atomic fuel domestically that it will perpetually retain" – the primary cause of the stalemate in the previous talks.

Previous Negotiations Suddenly Ended

The prior phases of negotiations between the US and Iran were ended suddenly and hostile termination on 12 June when Israel, with Washington's assistance, struck Tehran's atomic facilities in a 12-day war that concluded with the US president asserting the sites had been obliterated. Afterward, European countries used their authority to reinstate UN-wide sanctions, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Perfect Agreement Suggested

Tehran representatives claimed they felt they had reached a "perfect agreement" to the uranium processing matter in previous talks, when it was agreed an Iran-based consortium with American involvement could refine atomic fuel. Both sides would have been able to assert triumph since domestic enrichment would have persisted and the US could be certain that Iran's nuclear programme was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been agreed in the negotiations that Washington's technical specialists could operate within Iranian territory, but that was a logical implication of the consortium proposal. Representatives asserted on multiple occasions they had secured an understanding with Washington's diplomat the US official only for the deal to disintegrate due to "detractors in America".

Current Position

Iran's diplomats declared the cooperative arrangement was now off the table, but it seems highly likely the offer could be reintroduced in certain ways if talks reopen.

The US president last week stated he had been getting signals that Iran desired to reopen negotiations, but confidentially Iranian officials claim they are not yet receiving consistent overtures from Washington either directly or from significant local go-betweens, such as the Qatari government, Egypt, the Omani authorities and Saudi Arabia. The Tehran's diplomatic corps has been charged of inactivity in the aftermath of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Iran says diplomacy is not part of a performance.

Diplomatic Standpoint

In his remarks to the forum, aimed to paint the US as a hegemonic power that misuses the concept of worldwide standards, the foreign minister declared the two-week conflict demonstrated the clash could not be ended by armed force. He said the attacks commenced with a US demand for an complete Tehran capitulation and ended with an complete request for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is convinced the first strikes by Israel were carried out with total Washington understanding and collaboration, making faith hard to restore.

Dialogue Stays the Final Resolution

The foreign minister said: "Tehran was not the one that had fled negotiations; it was America and the European states that had consistently tried to dictate their desires during the negotiations. Diplomacy can still be alive and continues the primary solution to address conflicts, but its requirements, regulations and principles must be respected."

Repair and Rebuilding

The citizens of Tehran have developed more resilient, more integrated, and more endorsing of the administration and the state in the wake of this attack."
