In a unexpected crossover event that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Revealed
According to the official statement, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Content
Players who accomplish the mission will receive an special katana in addition to multiple items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
